Chicken Kebab

Hi non-veggies up there!

Oh how we love meat and their various preparations! And Kebab is on fleek among them.

Modern day kebabs in India trace their origin to the influence of the Mughlai cuisine in India. Some varieties of kebab in India are more or less similar to other kebab preparations along with their distinct taste, which can be credited to the use of the Indian spices.

We generally don’t make Kebab at home mainly because most of us are not aware of how to make it. Also, because you think it’s one hell of a job to make it at home, don’t you? Well, I make kebab once in one or two months. It’s that easy, trust me! The only thing that can hold you back is few things like- microwave and seekh. I guess microwave is very common nowadays and seekh is generally available along with microwave when you buy it. If not, you can always buy it from any nearby utensil shop.

Why waste bucks on few pieces kebab when you can have plenty when you make it on your own?

Here’s the recipe to make Kebab with few easy steps.

Ingredients needed:
• Chicken meat 500gm
• Light Soya Sauce 4 tsp.
• Vinegar 4 tsp.
• Pad Thai Sauce 2 tsp.
• Schezwan Chutney 3 tsp.
• Schezwan Chili Garlic Sauce
• Lemon Juice 2 tsp.
• Tandoori Mayonnaise
• Worcestershire Sauce (Optional)
• Garlic Paste 1 tsp.
• Ginger Paste 1 tsp.
• Chili Kutti Powder (Chili Flakes)
• Salt 1/2 tsp.
• Sugar 1 tsp.
• Vegetable Oil
• Kewra Water
• Fruit Color
• Butter 2 tsp.

Step 1: Take the 500 gm chicken and mix in it

  • Light Soya Sauce
  • Pad Thai Sauce
  • Ginger Paste
  • Garlic Paste
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Lemon Juice
  • Schezwan Chutney

Mix it well and marinate it for 1 hour.

Step 2: Microwave it for 20 minutes in “Micro+Convection” mode.

Step 3: After taking it out from the microwave, separate the chicken from extra water.

Step 4: Add the following items:

  • Veg tandoori mayonnaise
  • Schezwan Chili Garlic Sauce
  • Worcestershire Sauce(optional)
  •  Kewra Jal
  • Fruit Colour
  • Butter

Mix it well.

Step 5: Put the chicken into the seekh

Step 6: Burn the Kebab directly on your oven for some time.

Step 7: There you go! It’s done. Serve it in any way you please.
